life was so simple when you were here,

bubble-gum, bruises, tantrums and tears,

your boys were your life and your life was your boys,

always laughter and love whilst playing with there toys

so many memories are left in our head

its the happy ones that leaves our tears to shed

 wonderful son, brother and father you are

i look to the sky and know you are not far

to many scars,

have fled you to the stars

now the angels in white,

have taken you to the light

where ever you are you no longer need to fight
