Brother Can You Spare A Rhyme

Brother Can You Spare A Rhyme

Dedicated To Tony Taylor

I happed upon Cosmofunnel, over four long years ago;
I had just lost my precious Soulmate, my beloved dear Nico!
I had been crying uncontrollably, for many maudlin days;
I found with resuming writing poetry, my spirits slightly raised!
.
With angst, I published my first poem, then waited for what would be;
That same day, a creative genius, sent a cherished message to me!
He praised my use of rhyme scheme, and lauded my content too;
I read it in amazement, as my confidence quickly grew!
.
That was how I met him, the inceptions of our bond;
Each month we grew much closer, of each other were so fond!
We discovered that we were brothers, Mother Nature’s given sons;
Dedicated to all Earth’s beauties, two minds that thought like one!
.
We’ve both been so very fortunate, to find the women of our dreams;
Our Soulmates, Cherie and Linda, our hearts and Souls e’er beam!
Our nexus was predestined, the stars lit up the way;
For myself and Tony Taylor, on that most blessed of all days!
.
.
My brother has come
At last we’ve been united
Mother Nature’s womb

My Dear Eddy,

Back at you my friend, for your beautiful heartfelt comment gave me goosebumps too.  Nico has been gone now for over fifty months.  I honored him on April 16th, with my poem, "Fifty Shades Of Grey".
He is the reason I started writing poetry again, and joined Cosmo.
He is the catalyst that brought Tony Taylor and me together.
Tony Taylor was the catalyst for my success on Cosmo.

Peace and Love,
Larry xxx

Dear Simon,

Thank you for your lovely comment.
When one writes about Tony Taylor, the pen flows instinctively, and creates the poem all by itself.  His talent and creativity is unparalleled.

Peace and Love,
Larry xxx

Hey, it's the truth. I know you and tony both are some of the most wonderful people I've ever met, and Cherie... She is something else for sure. And I know from your work how wonderful a person dear Linda must be. Keep writing, my friend.

P.S.  I'm sure Justin thinks you do too.
