Burden's Pond

I sat alone at Burden's pondĀ
until that burden from me was gone
And I collapsed on Desperation's shore
until I felt that despair no more
I looked out across Longing lake
until it from me You did take
And I laid down in Love's bed
until at last my heart was fed.
