“But I don’t want to go to bed!!” 💕

“I am scared I see that Bogeyman!!” her little face was red

But her Mother picked her up and sat her upon her knee and then she said

“There is no such thing as the Bogeyman, you need to rest that weary head!!”

So up she climbed the carpeted ‘apple and pears’ 

With her ragtag teddybear bumping and thumping on the stairs

As she dragged him behind her in her sleepy state of affairs

When she plonked him on her bed and knelt down to say her prayers..

“God bless my Mammy and my Daddy” as she closes her eyes so tight

As she prayed to the Lord above to keep everyone alright

“Thank you for Mr. moon shining up a height”
