Buzzed

Buzzed

I have been red

I have been black

I have been blonde

But never felt such freedom as when all my hair is gone

How did I ever wear it long

The color the color

I was in love with one after another

Now it just is what it is

Mouse brown and silver

I have no cancer

Nor do I have a plan

I just let it be like the weather

Nor do I want to be thought a man

But fierce who I am

And free who I am

Beautiful in one light

Ugly in another

I could be here forever

But as I forgive the weather

I am who

I am

And she is like no other
