Bye, bye May, Hello June
We haven’t seen you for a year
It’s so good to see you once again
You are the mid-month of the lot
Please give us everything you’ve got
Wall-to-wall sunshine with a minimum of rain

June brings us warmth, it gives us joy
When every girl & boy 
Can frolic in the longer light from the sun
This is the season after Spring
With all the happiness it does bring
Let’s embrace this month’s summer solstice of fun

The sizzling sun high in the sky
with morning bird chorus as they fly
Flourishing flowers, fruits & berries on the trees
Beautiful butterflys fluttering fast
Bees pollenating buzzing past
When I think of June
I reminisce of these
