The buds unfurled to bring green leaves
That slept in silence in winters freeze
Whose voice commanded them to appear

The April sunshine warms the rain
The green appears on fields and tree
Who called them all to bloom again
It’s the one who quietly speaks to me.

The sky is full of birds that had flown
They call their music from the sky
We know who called them safely home
