The elitist intellectual is a shovel
who will try
and bury lesser minds with his craft
chastising, deliberate and absorbing
those that will fall at his ego’s feet for sure.
We meet these people daily
and shake our heads
for their humanities are on a lookout
discerning and fragmenting
instead of loving and offering guidance.

This old man with a stick
Is a rude literary awakening into an abyss
that offers nothing compelling
in whereby their esteemed intelligence
build bridges for all.
I dare not walk upon these structures
for the fragility of my Spirit is repulsed
by their intrusions on others.

We shall walk upon bridges
of esteemed intelligence that creates bonds.
What awkward appearance
has been created by their full-stacked mentalities?

Not evens Caesars thumb
could admonish the right to know these things.
