CALIFORNIA FLAMES

Who it was that angered you
Causing your fury to be unleashedÂ
One flame igniting your consuming wrathÂ
As your demons of destruction consume the landÂ
Tearing many lives apartÂ
Birds enjoying their quiet habitatÂ
Takes to the air in haste
As your cracking whisper turns into a roar
Burning everything in sightÂ
Devouring man made structuresÂ
While earthly creatures dig deeper into their holesÂ
Race horses trying their best
To outrun your breath of death
The odds are against themÂ
They are encompass by your vengeanceÂ
They all fall in your pathway of death
Water by air and landÂ
Cannot quench your thirstÂ
The slightest of breeze or a sneezeÂ
And your color of gold though beautiful a sightÂ
Continues to create havoc in the daytimeÂ
And is unstoppable at nightÂ
California flames!
Mans best effort cannot stop
Until your anger is satisfiedÂ
Everything in your pathway will be devouredÂ
And that which is alive
Will die.
Wilford Barker.

Hello Wilford...
The conditions of the sun, the landscape and being dry is the spark starter...
When the winds come and blow the hot embers unfortunately, where the conditions are perfect to start one, the same conditions are throughout...
Wood burns fast and hot...
Our Fire Fighters that were set to go help, was told to wait, because the winds were too dangerous for them to get close...
The winds and all the different combinations could take an airplane and toss it right into a mountain...
Can't fight a fire if you're killed...
Did you forget who your Boss is?
Did you forget what He is?
Thank you for sharing...
Hugs...

Hi sparrowsong...
In times like these it's very difficult for people in general to remember and proclaim that God is in charge.. the hurt, pain of losing friends love ones animals and property are too much for people to believe that fact..
Job said.. " Shall we only receive good from God and not evil also?
This is a very hard thing for most of us to understand..
Thanks for your comments.Â
Fo have a wonderful weekend.Â
Hello Wilford...
Perhaps, it just doesn't really matter...
Half of them probably don't even give Him a Hello on a Good Day...
Even if they're yelling at Him they're talking to Him...
Hugs...
