Glint of light.

Lingering here in this darkness,

For how long I don’t know,

Moving from room to room,

No t knowing what could lie before,

Not knowing what does lie behind,

Only knowing,

That I must keep on going,

In this darkness,

In this stillness,

Fearing the sound of my own heart beat

Fearing what might be all around,

Looking for a little glint of hope,

A little glint of light.

Wondering around in this darkness,

With no light to guide me,

But hoping to find my way,

Only sound is my heart,

That in my chest

does pound,

Calling the beasts that lay all around.
