Poem -

IN YOUR DREAMS

In the light of the silvery moon,

As I hold you next to me,

Your beating heart so close to mine,

I wish that now mine,

Could beat with yours in time,

As I feel your gentle breath,

Caress upon my chest,

I know that now what I feel is wrong.

Remember in your dreams,

What this our love should seem,

Remember me in your dreams,

What this love should have been,

If it was meant to be,

For I now know that I have done you wrong,

With all the lies and truths denied,

When I look into your eyes,

I feel the pain deep down inside,

That I know I’ve tried to hide,

But the truth I must deny,

Is the truth that I love you.

Remember in your dreams,

What this our love should seem,

Remember me in your dreams,

What this love should have been,

If it was meant to be,

As I hold you in my arms,

I know that this night is our last,

I feel that our time has past,

And that and end is near,

But now I promise you this my dear,

That I’ll

Remember in my dreams,

What this our love should seem,

Remember you in my dreams,

What this love should have been,

If I was a man.

So I let you go now,

In to the day and light,

Far from this world of the night,

Do not be afraid,

Hold on to the memories,

And I will be there in your dreams.

Remember in your dreams,

What this our love should seem,

Remember me in your dreams,

What this love should have been,

If it was meant to be,
