Calm
Who are you,
why do you come
are you a thought,
are you an idea?
You disturb me
you disrupt my life
who are youΒ
you make me restless
Like a disaster, you strike
bringing a pause in my life.
You are beyond time and space
you are beyond anything i know.
You scare me,
you fill me with a void
You suck out the light
or you make everthing too bright
I cant distinguish
coz you make everything a blur.
Tell me, who you are!
Do not be scared
there is nothing to fear.
I am the simplest of all
I am devoid of any emotions
I am neither a thought, nor an idea.
I am no such thing
Pause and look beyond the blur
There is something beyond it, very clear
You have to embrace me, with all your heart.
Trust me, i intend no harm.
I am a mere state.
A state of the mind.Β
I come only when needed.
I bring peace.
Let go of your thoughts
Let go of your ideas
I am like a ripple free lake
look at me and you'll see
I am you,
when you are calm.
In the purest of states,
I am "calm"
