IN A QUIET PLACE

Can I kiss you in a quiet place,
Behind the willow's drapes,
Aside the homes that we have known,
Beside the summer's lake,
Can I hold you on a silent hill,
Seek shapes in clouds that graze,
Sip tea at noon as orchids bloom,
With every breath we take,
Can I lay you on a meadows bed,
As soft as nature's eyes,
And slowly run a youthful hand,
Upon your perfect thighs,
Then we'll rest beneath the precious land,
When all our days are done,
And I'll kiss you in a quiet place,
Somewhere beyond the sun.
End
