I knew from the start
This wouldn't work out
But can you blame me for hoping?
That little smile you would give me
The way you tease me about something I did
The looks that you gave me when I did something strange
It was hard not to start to fall for you
But can you blame me for falling for you?
I was hoping you'd find something about me
That you'd want to stay just with me
But I know you aren't like that
