Poem -

Flying By

Watching pictures of my life
As they fly by on a breeze
Yet your face seems to
Fly by the most
I reach out to stop you
From leaving me alone
As the darkness creeps up on me
And starts to suffocate me
I don't know who you are
Why does your face
Have the brightest light
Are you trying to get me to remember?
There are pictures flying by me
I don't know who these people are
And yet, one face keeps flying by
Who is this face in the picture?
The darkness has its grip on me
I feel alone as the pictures fade
And yet, a hand reaches out for me
And then it flies away
