Poem -

Cancer?

On one Sunday morning
A call came without warning
"At this hour!" I cried
Then got out of bed as I sighed

I rushed to the hospital
Through the doors that were little
Down the halls and past the doors
Treading on spotless medical floors

I enter the room and dash about
Finding the tools I cannot work without
I look at the patient with a doctor's eye
"Very well" said I

Examined, was the patient
I admit, it was not pleasant
A tumor in the brain
I'm surprised he's not writhing in pain

Cancer caused the tumor
It causes headaches and a seizure
Cancer is the problem, I am sure
To fix it, the answer is obscure

Can somebody save him?
Everyone is grim
For no one knows the answer
To the deadly disease of cancer
