thundering on our canvas,
could not close an  eye

The picture resembles the situation I joke about, but was taken from inside our home during a really heavy shower (not having left the warm sleeping bag to take a picture of our  (new) tent during a nightly thunderstoprm with heavy rain🤣). It is true, though, at first it felt like not sleeping at all, but when the storm was over...
