Poem -
Capsized Ship
The darkness filled the sky
as the ship tossed from side to side.
The rain began to pour,
as the men turned in for the shore.
The screams of the men on board could be heard
from miles on cord.
The ship began to sink
as all the men jumped from the flashing brink.
As the waters tossed the ship the storms began to cease.
The men floated for hours ,then death came out with power.
No one was found not even a sound.
As the mystery of the ship and the men who were lost
the waters on the gulf came at a cost.
The ship and the fellows who once was on board
must be buried in the deep sand of the waters lords.
To all the men who have been lost at sea
may your soul be set free.

Hi KAY!!.... this is such a great piece of subject matter to shine a light on....I wonder what made you think of it in the first place.... regardless, you have done a fine job of shining that light and creating a wonderful tribute piece to all the men and women who have been lost at sea..... for me personally.....THIS would be THE worst way to die.....I have such a great fear of drowning that it has been in my dreams and thoughts at various times throughout my life......ALL STARS!!...... well conceived and BEAUTIFULLY delivered dear poet sister!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......T xo ?✴❤
