Poem -
Captain Silver Shoe 💙
I be a filibuster, a privateer
I will pilfer and picaroon if I can no fear
Coz I be the Capitain of the Silver Sphere
And it’s woe betide any seafarer who dare to come here
You may hear of my heroic tales in a children’s storybook
And yes It is true my right hand is a nothing but a hook
Yet It is my character so indeed I am a crook
You do not want to bump into me in any dark shady nook
I am a marauder the rover of the sea
With a skull and crossbow on my flags you will know that it is me
As I will pilfer and pinch that’s the way it will be
Coz I am Captain Silver Shoes
in my Silver Sphere on the quay

HOW could I NOT read a poem called Captain Silver Shoes? The title pulled me straight in and the story was fabulous all the way through. I do so love a story in poem form and this is a brilliant example. Excellent work as always x
