Electric Currents

This is another poem written by my girlfriend and I and is one of my favorite that we've written together. As usual she would write a line then I would write a line and this poem is what became of that.

Electric energy was shared between them 
Two currents flowing, uncontrollably around the brim 

Love like waves growing stronger in the breeze 

Like wild horses, their desires ran free 

Discovering each other, like gifts under the tree 

Picture Perfect nothing, could come between them

Like some romantic movie picture film 

Opening each box connected them further 

A Pandora's box of Love, growing stronger 

Their power built as they became one with each other 

This is what happens when an unstoppable Force meets another, 

An unmovable Force is what they discovered

Over and under

Solid and true

Interconnected and everlasting

Colors of yellow and blue

They would never be defeated

They would never follow the order 

They would always be what each other needed 

In their most imperfect form
