Life suddenly has a new meaning

You've changed the way I'm feeling

I had become accustomed to sorrow

Now I look forward to each tomorrow 

When all my days were spent in grief

You took my hand and gave me belief

Belief that I could find happiness again

Belief that there was an end to pain

Belief that I could once more find peace

Belief effects of the storm would cease 

You were the one to see me through

The one who knew exactly what to do

To make me realize life must go on

To help me up after being down so long
