Poem -

Cast death aside.

Love would die a painful death to be forgotten, yet it lives and it takes us all

Stop and feel my sorrow
Catch the tears that are fastly dwelling

If I had a penny for every heart, non to be worth selling

I'd keep thee, each treasure
Jewelled and gem'd

To cast death aside, forbade
And condemned

To touch your face without frost, and light pale exposure

To open a room to void
And closure, such love doesn't ask for photographs

Nor Doe's it have a memory bank, just a letter
Sometimes forgotten
Leaving the signature blank

I set aside a ribbon, a bright blue bow for you,
I wrapped it round a pretty
Rose, the thorns they Tore right through

And on the silent hillside
A marked grave of cobbled stone, was the place I left the answer

Before the cold walk home.
