Causation

Causation

You strike me down
Lower than a grub

For what cause,
Be to thy causation?

Undeserving—
Merciless you are:
Without reprieve.

A loathing unto me
For what else am I to feel,
Gratefulness? Blasphemy!

I seek no longer to be
For all graces be fallen.

You are no just man,
Only wrath shall I know:
A cruelty unjust.

Your right hand
Be mighty, yet
Lacking of love.

Tis what of your left?
A touch, withheld
Unbalanced, you are

To me, and only me.
I dare not comprehend
Your ways beyond my feebleness.

An anger unto me
Unlike nay before it.
Tis your doing, For why?

Persecuted.
Enslaved.
Imprisoned!

What cause doth thou serve?
For goodness, I see not.

Keep on writing fellow poet!!! I loved this so expressive and the audio did it much justice I think. When you get a chance read a poem of mine called "Bleeding Heart" I think you'll like it! It's on my first page you can't miss it, cheers!
