Chance Meeting

True story......

Ah friend, you elevate me.
Yet 'tis not I your heart is seeing!
'Tis Christ in me that is glowing!
Myself? I find His precious blood is freeing.

So, do not put me higher than thyself.
I too, have sinned and failed before.
I've felt unloved, betrayed and angry!
My self esteem trampled on earth's floor!

I am not your judge my friend!
Only the Father hath such right to be!
The only difference between you and I?
Is that I let Jesus set me free!

Set me free-my soul can now soar!
It matters not what my situation screams!
I have peace untold my brother!
My life goes much deeper than I seem.

I too have been beaten, scorned, belittled!
Abused in oh, so many a way........
Satan has laughed right in my face!
So, Why you ask do I smile today?

I smile sweet friend, because I can!
Not one person can take my joy from me!
For the Judges order hath sealed it!
The day I accepted Jesus as my Key.

Ah precious soul can you understand?
My life has been mountain climbing personified!
Yet, my skin, in all seasons, feels the warmth of God's light-
My mansion is waiting on the other side!

I have sinned and fell at times, into a mess!
I have some life moments that I regret.
Yet, I have sought and found forgiveness-
In such grace, my treasures kept!

I am thankful you can see, the Lights Of Home on me!
For I am but a sinner saved by His Grace!
So, what dear one, holds you from The Lord?
Look now unto His face!

For it matters not where you are-
Or how ugly is thy sin.
He loves you and will cleanse you complete!
All you need do is ask Him in........

Into your heart, let forgiveness sound!
Sweetest music you ever heard!
For guidance, just ask and he will hear you.....
Then..........study His Holy Word.

Do not let Satan, cause you, to form excuses-
Or throw up to your mind your every mistake!
God loves you as He loves me....
Allow not Satan thy soul to take!

So, this glow? This light you say is on my face.....
Well, it's just Christ peeking out you see!
For He wanted me to tell you he is missing you-
and through our chance meeting is seeking thee!

Let HIM be the strength you need to overcome!
Allow HIM to hold you close to His heart.
Seek HIM, ask forgiveness, be held!!!
You ARE worth it, now do your part!

Then, when we chance to meet on the street again-
I will see you coming friend for a mile!
For I too shall see The Lights Of Home!
.....and on your face will be His smile!
