I don’t have time for pity or shame

I don’t have time for attitude or blame

I don’t have time for your tricks or games

All I want is to be left alone.

Let me walk away or crawl in my hole.

Don’t follow me expecting to find a soul.

I have nothing left to give.

I saw you today and you were smiling

I saw you today and you were crying

How can things change so fast

How can love of the heart be so vast..

I saw you today and now you have past.

I sat there for a while with no-one by my side

I stomped down my ego, my values, my pride

I can’t think correctly it is all such a mess

I feel like my mind is in a swarm or a hornets nest

When will all this be done…saying goodbye

We need brighter days …not darker nights

I want to live in a world that is free of hurt

I want to run outside and feel the warm rays

I want to love with all my heart until the end of my days

I want to forgive, forget and move on

I want to box up my tears and be gone

I want a life that’s better for me and mine

I want a life that isn’t about false time.
