Chasing Dreams

Imagine the Moon and the Sun to be soul mates each to the other

The galaxy sets the stage, allowing them to be sharing the heavens above.

The stars being the devine map to plot the route for each to follow  to bring them together.

The planets combined being obstacles for the time. 

They feel a yearning that keeps each chasing the other.

A longing, a deep desire that keeps the fire in each alive, to keep going and fuel their drive. 

So close they get to realise their dreams of being one whole rather then half to complete their goal.

Nature and the universe do their part to bring the two closer together.  Forcing them to interact with an interlude of a Lunar eclipse as a break from their travels.

Sometime much later they do meet again just after a show, with an encore of a solar eclipse before their departure back on the journey of love.

So true of destined lovers, they come so close but never to be. Is it that we take for granted what's before us, or do we convince ourselves never to be good, worthy, and slightly slanted on the scale that leans towards not being enough?

If only Sun had the confidence and was brave enough to speak his heart, to bear his soul could he have found the same in his Moon?

If Moon had to break etiquette and made a move would she have given Sun motivation so he would know to go for a try?

If they strived harder, overcome the planets and endured the hardships conquering the obstacles would they have been?

But alas they forced to do their dance chasing the dream one eclipse after the other. We will never know the outcome until either breaks the fears, totally lets go and comes undone.

A lesson for us all for feeling complete will seem nothing more than chasing dreams till all fears are broken and we let all go.
