Checking in on my friend Stacy

Checking in on my friend Stacy

I’m alright, but what about you Stacy?

 You seem so far away lately

Heard you`re feeling a little down the last little while

So I decided to drive by your house just to see you

And I brought along your favorite; French fries

 It’s free, and you even get a smile

Got your answering machine again

When I tried calling you...just saying

And the same thing happened the day before

But I’m here now, and all that don’t really matter

Left you a message; was only a joke please ignore;

 HELP I`M TRAPPED IN MY COMPUTER

 That beep comes way too fast for me Stacey

Heard you’ve been in your house and won’t open the door

 I miss you so much I can’t even lie-- my friend

If I lived on your street I could drop by more often

Like on a made up situation comedy on T.V

I could tell you a joke or say something funny

Sure would be nice to hear you laugh for me

 Or just give me that look; like I’m high or crazy;

When you want to-- you can reach me Stacey

 I`m a good listener, if you ever need to talk to somebody
