Cheeky monkey a nonsense poem

I once took a trip far away it took seven whole  weeks and one day, to see the cheeky monkey who sits in a tree and laughs at people like you and me . I crept through the jungle and swam through a swamp and  was nearly eaten by a crocodile in one big chomp.    I saw the  cheeky monkey sat in his tree oh what beautiful sight was he ! hello he said are you looking for me  ?  Said the cheeky monkey so full of glee , ha ha he laughed  and  how do  you do ?with a face like yours you should be in a zoo ! oh you cheeky monkey !  I said out loud and-when I looked  round there was  such a big crowd , there were elephants tigers from Kalamazoo and another cheeky monkey who shouted boo!! oh what  a sight  I did see and the monkeys just laughed  and made me a cup of tea I must go I said  in in a very short while  why  don't live with us here and live in style  so that's what I did  and to this very day I sit with cheeky monkeys and talk  away ,so next time you see a  cheeky monkey sat in a tree you never know it may just be me !!!

Hi Tom,

This is much more serious than the "Monkey Business" it is portrayed to be.  I'm sure it's like an "Alice in Wonderland".  Who is the Mad Hatter?, The Cheshire Cat?, The Queen of Hearts?.  Very funny, yet very heavy.  Me likey!!

Peace and Love,
