cheers!

The bells are ringing
its christmas time 
we pour the glass
of deep red wine 
cheers to our family
cheers to the lord
cheers to our friends
and those we lost
we take a sip 
and thoughts go by
of poor and hungry
tears we cry
the wine it settles
in mind and thoughts
raise our glass and take our time
for those less fortunate left behind
