It’s many a moon since you left us but I think of you come what may

I hope you can see me writing this to you as you’re with my good old Father up above those skies so blue
I shall pour myself a little ‘Advocaat’ this was your favourite drink
and I will raise my glass up in the air with a wonderful smile as I wink
“Cheers Mam!!” wherever you may be and as I know drinking alcohol was a rarity I shall toast you with a cup of tea!!
