Poem -

childish dreams

My thirsty dreams keep reality dry and tasteless.

Mirrors show the age of failure, each line a dying promise to time.

Is there reflection to reason or will it forever beĀ unseen, maybe I close my eyes for it is too disturbing to see

Living only in the blinking of lashes childish hope will not give peace to my passion, a body that is full of ashesĀ and Ā a mind still aflame, too bright did I set this future that burns my will too fast, soon my past I will want for my future and my dreams it will be too late
