CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT

A child at night should be tucked up snugly in their bed
However in some countries they wonder the streets instead
How can this happen in the world today?
It's time the law was changed is what I say

Children of six are dependent on drugs
When all they require are loving hugs
Children of ten involved in prostitution
Surely there must be an answer and solution

How can a child of eight be hooked on crime ?
Getting in trouble with the law all the time
So if you are a parent heed my advice
Give your child some love and treat them nice
