These children of Ukraine didn't ask to die
Casualties of war is the main reason why 
Imagine the heartbreak of those left behind 
Trying to keep their memories forever enshrined 

A child doesn't understand the reason of war
Neither do us adults that is certainly for sure
Bloodshed and the waste of a young human life
Will undoubtedly give so much sorrow and strife 

So spare a thought for the children of Ukraine 
A parent's loss is considered Putin's gain 
War is not the answer and has never been so
This is just the start as more tears will flow
