Chinese songs

Chinese songs

He sits in a restaurant
Listening to Chinese songs
Wondering what he wants
For tonight's sins

Gently he lifts the cup
A sip of tea so desired
Wondering what of love
And a life rightly now retired

Later he walks along the street
Others seem to pass him by
His heart lead his weary feet
And he wonders forever why

As evening ends close to sleep
The songs finish within his mind
And these now forever to keep
In his soul true words to find

Step of the foot

Nevertheless
Beneath
The dreadlocks
Beneath
The mohawk
The heart...

In My
Skin
My
Thick
