CHOCOLATE CIGARETTE

That girl smoked a chocolate cigarette
At the bar and watched the jazz quartet
While dancers swayed to its rhythms
Their hips moving in syncopated deliriums
The smell of the smoke did surly enthrall
As they consumed more of the free alcohol
That girl sighed and took another toke
Inhaled deeply then snorted some coke
A man approached to ask her to dance
She nodded her head in reluctant acceptance
On her neck was a scorpion zodiac tattoo
Inked in hues of red, green and dark blue
That girl danced naked with flawless grace
The man eyes descended to a lower place
He watched the scorpion creep down her belly
Realizing she was a witch beautiful but deadly
Knowing the scorpion was her guardian familiar
The man moved to avoid the strike of this killer
That girl smiled slyly with an approving glare
Noting how quickly he avoided that snare
She deemed him worthy of her singular attention
And decided to add him to her private collection
Dancing in circles she whispered the rune
To call forth demons in which to commune
That girl pointed her finger in silent command
And gathered the magic in her right hand
Her chosen victim prayed for a way of escape
He wasnât a necromancer make no mistake
The demons appeared prepared to obey
The man formed a plan to get far and away
Instantly he formed wings for perfect flight!
That girl disappeared into the pale moonlight!
