Chores

Chores

Written Feb. '83, when I was 12

When it comes to chores,
I never pay no mind.
When she says to clean my room,
I always lag behind.

I twittle and twottle,
I dittle and dottle.
I always waste the day.

But until I clean my room,
I never get to play.
