Other People's Memories

Other People's Memories

Another drawer
Of yellow pictures, tattered
Around the room they’re scattered
On the floor.

One undated
A long forgotten friend
The name on back in pen
Is nearly faded.

Faces so well known, but
Memories not your own
Are thrown away.
