CHRIST SILHOUETTE

CHRIST SILHOUETTE

CHRIST SILHOUETTE

Ricardo Antonio Garcia

The poet bows his head and suffers

exhaling more than inhaling the air of contemplation.

The air of deceit has elasticized the lungs

conjuring the meanings for their cancerous lesions

and finding God a more repetitive measure.

Translucent words

discover an epitaph beyond the Mormon Tabernacle

and become a wizard’s web for the mind.

Diving into a pool of consciousness

we all shall swim and enter into this abyss, screaming

that someone will hear our demonic cries.

The poet contrives and expands his mind

taking the escalator to the heavens sounding bell

for wherever gold has found the hand

these empires are by stake blue money stained.

Saturated blue money bodies … are beauteous evil.

Liquid sources of currency …

Have the takers possessed our sweat equities

casting their urns by the potter’s wheel?

The idiocy of politics imprisons in their forecasts

murdering the poet by a snipers bullet.

Poets all walk in the shadows of a Christ silhouette

beaten by the hammering nails.
