Christmas Season

Candy canes and Christmas stockings
Hung by blazing fires,
Christmas tunes played on harp and lyre,
Christmas caroling in the neighborhood,
And noble firs brought from the woods,
Halls decked with boughs of holly,
Bell ringers and Santa, oh so jolly,
Presents underneath the fir,
Like gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh,
Christmas morn, a jubilant time
Of celebrating the Savior's birth,
So very sublime.
