Christmas Without You
Another year passed and Christmas is here,
Everyone festive and full of good cheer,
Presents are wrapped and sit under the tree,
Oh, how I wish, you could share it with me.
You were the one, who loved Christmas the most,
From sharing your presents to eating your roast,
Christmas for you, was about family and love,
I hope you can enjoy it as much up above.
Wrapping the gifts is not quite the same,
Writing the tags and missing your name,
All this reminds me, that you are not here,
Making us laugh and raising a beer.
Your sister's and I talk fondly of you,
Remembering the mad things, you often would do,
Christmas day memories are close to my heart,
Now you have left us, and we spend it apart.
I wish that today, we could all be together,
For me that would be, the best Christmas ever,
I wish for a miracle, to make this come true,
Just one more chance, to share it with you.
Β know that you're with us, this Christmas day,
Know that you are thought of in things that we say,
Know that this Christmas and ones yet to come,
The one gift that's missing, is my beautifulΒ
