Chuggety Chug

Chuggety Chug

Chugging on a cross country train
Through the hills & dales
I’m doing my early morning routine answering my emails
It isn’t very busy yet
Coz it is early morn
I’d have a nap if I only could
But I can’t I yawn

Never mind I’ll do my usual amusement
I’ll privately people view
This I find very therapeutic
It’s something I often do
I adore looking at a person
Studying in my mind
Trying to decipher their personality
Are they temperamental or kind

Ooh there’s an interesting character with a handle-bar moustache
His cheeks are very crimson,
It’s probably a heat rash
I think he is a business man
As he is engrossed in his ipad
I can espy the screen on it
So I reckon hes using ā€˜CAD’

Now then I see a minute look-alike
He is sat opposite that man
Oh I’ve overheard conversations
He is this man’s son Stan
This little lad could be nine or ten
It’s really hard to tell
Tho he hasn’t got a moustache
He looks like his Dad as well

So I am going to Edinburgh
With my Daughter & her lass
So three generations of us are sat in middle class
My Granddaughter has a checkup
To see about her brace
It is multicoloured & actually suits her pretty face

Well woohoo I’d better hurry up
& say goodbye to you
We are pulling into Waverly
The station is in view
So ttfn, that means ā€˜tatta for now’
Crikey’s I’m gonna miss my stop
ā€˜Heaven help me’ ā€˜Holy cow’ !!
