Poem -

the circle

Hold my hand and we can live

Release and we will surely perish

I believe in you

 Will you believe in me?

Even in the winds of strife

 Uprooting pillars,  deeply buried

We will rebuild-- just smile sweetly

 Let the raging floods come

Let the waters fall upon us

Let the night release its’ pain.

 Though blood lust legions descend

 and ravage our possessions

We will walk on their bones

and laugh at their folly

Hold my hand and you'll see

No enemy can ever prosper or know victory

As God is in our unity
