Aye city tree
I cry for thee
When thee I see
I hide the tears
Arms vernal, yearn
Desire to burn
But men shall learn
With passing years
That trees feel too
As I for you
We'll start anew
I'll mend thy pains
That all may see
This struggle again.....
The way the wind lay
The smog in its sway
Brings me such shame
I'm paralyzed
I simply stand and stare
A noble peacock glare
A ragged rubber spare
That screams out "Why!?"....
Aye City Tree

One of my greatest pleasures is being near and touching a beautiful tree. My friends call me a tree hugger because I do give them a hug, I especially love the big old trees that are in our local woods. My dream would be to visit the USA to see those giant Redwoods! Well done for another great write T`
