Clock off

It’s that time again, I get to fall asleep, blissfully, peacefully without a single peep,

The door held a jar and the window slightly cracked, been working a tonne today, I’m well and truly whacked,

One leg out the covers and the other tucked beneath, had garlic for tea but not to worry I remembered to brush my teeth,

Plump the pillows and rest your heads, relax and unwind and knock out some zeds,

So long for now and let your worries fade away, sleep tight without a fright and may the bed bugs stay away.
