Cloud of Smoke

She's huffing and puffing,
and she's choking and smoking.
She's puffing on a cigarette like she ain't joking.
I can hardly see her through the cloud of smoke, and she is looking over at this unfortunate bloke.
He is sat there hiding behind his tinted shades, as he watches the cloud of smoke as it fades.
She's still looking over as she drinks her drink, but this man is not interested as he sits there and thinks.
He wants to move as he knows that this is not right, he just wants to get on with his night.
She's still looking over at every last glance, but he's still not interested and she doesn't have a chance.
She is now at the end of her pint and is on her last few sips,
it's gone down nicely with her plate of chips.
She's nursing her drink and it's taking a while, as she wants him to look over at her and smile.
She puts out her cigarette and lights up the next, she looks at her phone as she replies to her text.
She then gets up and looks behind,
hoping that he has changed his mind.
She then walks out of the pub and looks back,
but he's not interested because opposites don't always attract.

That was actually interesting and fun to read + it's true, opposites don't really always attract! Great writing! :)
