Cloudless Night
In dark we sit on a clear cloudless night,
Where stars are dim and there is no moonlight.
Where there is none and none is seen, where things are opposite of clean,
Where no one is happy but one in sight.
He’s tall, mysterious, and mean, from a horrible world unseen,
Where everyone looks sad even the man who’s every look is mean.
No color can be found, where there is too much sound,
Where you get nothing to drink unless you’re treated like a queen.
In here your heart will always pound and tales of hope are never found,
Where everywhere feels like a burial ground.
Where love is unknown and if it is it’s never shown,
This man you hear of lives in the mound on Road of the Drowned.Â
He is selfish and looks like skin and a bone,
There is no one else here who can set the tone.
For this unforgivable, and unlivable place,
Where all you can do is even moan and groan.
In there you are nothing more than a face,
A pity case But thankfully I will never go to that place,
Because for the fact that I am saved,
But only because God has grace.
