“COCKLE DOODLE DOO!!!”

Wakes me up with a fright every single morning

And I always grumble “I’LL PLUCK THAT DAM ROOSTER!!!” as I am stretching n a’yawning

As a brand new beautiful day is a’dawning

Eeh he is an absolute flaming pest

With his puffed out feathers and his colourful vest

Huh this is Sunday can I not have a rest!!!

And stuff those that thinks living on a farm is truly blessed ?

So I have had my shower but there he is again

Sticking his long neck in the air all ready to strain

His comb is cocked out full of corn and grain
