Oh my soulmate Cody, I cannot stop the pain;
I promised you I would not cry, but my tears still fall like rain!
I’ve tried to think of good things, and remember all our joy;
But other thoughts inundate me, that I’ve lost my little boy!

Two weeks ago you had to leave us, we watched them end your life;
Our hearts and souls both shredded, eviscerated by Reaper’s knife!
Today you are coming home to us, your ashes in a wooden box;
All that we’ll have left of you, for time ended your biological clock!

It will sit upon your sacred shrine, where we mourn the loss of you;
Right next to our dear Nico’s, so now we cry for two!
An era now has ended, our Blessed puppies have sailed away;
But we never will stop loving you, and will honor you each day!

Hi Larry linda when you get to Ohio you should buy little puppy little black and white dog and have the name for him or her CODNICO I just made the name up I hope you will think about it
Dear Greg,
It is so sweet of you to think of us. Oft times, after we lost Nico, we thought about when Cody would sadly follow him, if we would have another dog. We decided that if we ever did, it would be a Bichon, pure white as the snow, just like our little boys were, and we would name him Nicody in their honor. But since losing Cody, we have decided that at this point in our lives, we will spend the rest of our years honoring and relishing their memories, and not again subject ourselves to the excruciating pain of anothers loss.
