Cognizance
In the light of thingsÂ
And when I look into your eyesÂ
Although your beauty radiantÂ
Inferior to my facade,Â
That sparkling gazeÂ
Not looking through meÂ
As others before have,Â
We hold attentionÂ
For one glorious momentÂ
In the moment of two livesÂ
Before a multitude of glorious moments exist;Â
Feeling with the heartÂ
(Which I do now and that is what makes this write possible)Â
Were the same me and you,Â
Not in the way of friendsÂ
But friends of life, people of loveÂ
Ready for the hard hitsÂ
Only softening up to healing affection.Â
When I knew........Â
My soul seem enlightenedÂ
To a whole new level.

Hey D!!.........you could not have chosen a better pic for this....... to me........ the one line that just grabs at the heart strings is..... "For one glorious moment.." Thanks T. Like I told Cherie, I wanted to capture the moment and in experience some of my moment of realization, what occurs between the two in a more personal realistic write. I was actually trying to get a couple off in the distance in each others arms floating in the clouds and this was as close as I got to that enlightened level. You the man T, peace.
