Cold Sunshine
The sun occupies my days,
From dawn to dusk,
Looking for bright days,
The sun shines bright,
But my days are always dark,
Lonely days,
Hearing your voice carried on the wind,
Telling me, not to give up,
Thinking still of you,
Remembering your hugs,
As my cold days slip away,
Remembering when you left,
My sunshine and happiness went away,
The day the sunshine became cold.

❝Ain't no sunshine when she's gone...❞
I tend to think in terms of lyrics and music sometimes, Ron.
Having said that this was the first thought that popped into my head after reading your poem.
Nice work,

My pleasure.
Hi, Cherie,
Yes, your world is turned upside down and cold when love is lost.
Thank you for reading my poem and for the comment.
